I love this photo of my nephews on the beach in Siesta Key. If it weren’t for their feet being a little out of focus you would think they were hanging there – especially Joseph on the right. I could photograph the people I love all day and process the images all night. It makes me so happy to do so. I also love this quote by Fernando Pessoa from The Book of Disquiet. Somewhere at home in Ohio that book is wondering why it hasn’t been opened since college. He is an interesting fellow to read if you haven’t heard of him.
“My soul is a hidden orchestra; I know not what instruments, what fiddle strings and harps, drums and tambourines I sound and clash inside myself. All I hear is the symphony.”
