Cup o’ Courage: “Love yourself first”

Filia_130531_5-304I am interested in the grittiness and texture of life and want to share it through your experiences and your words in the Cup o’ Courage series. I hope you find something in each entry that connects you to the person for a brief moment. Life is full of passing moments and we get to decide how to fill them. Most do chose to connect, but it is getting harder in this day and age to feel an authentic connection. You can be in a room full of people and not feel it. Why is that? Is it because sometimes we are afraid to talk about what really matters? You tell me. I want to hear from you. If you follow the link above, you will find directions on how to submit. There is also the option to pick one prompt and expand on it; I am sure most of us could write a full paragraph on what our most powerful belief is or what the most difficult time in our life was.  Again, follow the link above and you can decide where to go from there. Just remember spilling your soul can fill someone’s heart. Be honest and be real. Can’t wait to hear from you.

Here are some of the first entries:
Cup o’ Courage: “I know nothing for sure”
Cup o’ Courage: “See the opportunity, not the obstacle”
Cup o’ Courage: “True commitment always comes with loss”

Thank you, Jenifer Filia of Westerville, Ohio for your gracious submission (shown below)!

  1. Soybeans are full of beneficial compounds
that are perfect for anti-aging such as amino acids and anti-oxidants.
Splashing fresh water on your facial skin rejuvenates it and the hydration prevents acne
and pimples. Searching gonna college or any other public spot,
they even make light gold necklaces since they
are not limited for you to be worn throughout parties
